1. Overview

At Volterox, we are committed to delivering high-quality products. This policy explains your rights regarding returns, refunds, and warranties in accordance with European Union consumer protection laws.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Return)

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.


Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive your order.

How to Exercise Your Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by:

"I hereby withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods…"

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition  
  • It must be returned in the original packaging  
  • All accessories, manuals, and components must be included  

You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store, but excessive use may result in a reduction of refund value.

4. Return Process

  2. Receive return instructions  
  3. Ship the item back to us  

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We will notify you of approval or rejection  
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days

Refunds include:

  • The product price  
  • The standard delivery cost (if applicable)

Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

6. Exceptions to Returns

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Used or damaged items caused by the customer  
  • Products not returned in original condition  
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return once opened (if applicable for hygiene reasons)


7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery  
  • Provide photos as evidence  

We will:

  • Replace the item, or  
  • Issue a full refund, including return shipping costs.


 8. Legal Warranty (EU Consumer Guarantee)

Under EU law, all products come with a minimum 2-year legal guarantee.

This means:

  • Products must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality  
  • If a product is faulty or does not conform, you are entitled to:

  • Repair  
  • Replacement  
  • Price reduction  
  • Refund (if repair/replacement is not possible)


9. Burden of Proof

  1. Within the first 12 months, any defect is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proven otherwise  
  2. After this period, the consumer may need to prove the defect existed at delivery


10. Warranty Coverage (Volterox Commercial Warranty)

In addition to your legal rights, Volterox may offer a commercial warranty:

Coverage:

  • Manufacturing defects  
  • Electrical faults under normal use  

Not Covered:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications  
  • Normal wear and tear. 

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under EU law.
